ENGINE: All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including: engine block, cylinder heads (excluding damage caused by overheating regardless of the cause), crankshaft and main bearings, crankshaft gears, connecting rods and bearings, camshafts and bearings, camshaft gears, push rods, pistons, rings and pins, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs and retainers, valve covers, guides, lifters, rocker arms, shafts and pivots, timing chains, oil pump & shaft, dip stick & tube, Timing gears, guides, tensioners, seals, harmonic balancer, oil pan, timing chain cover, intake and exhaust manifolds, valve covers, engine mounts.
TRANSMISSIONS/TRANSAXLE:
a) Automatic: All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including: housing, torque converter, valve body, gear sets, main and intermediate shafts, vacuum modulator, oil pump. Excluded: External linkages and shifter.
b) Standard: All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including: housing, main and intermediate shafts, gear sets, synchronizer rings, shifter fork and bearings. Excluded: manual clutch, pressure plate, clutch bearing, external linkages and shifter, flexplate and flywheel,Transmission case, vacuum modulator, electronic shift control unit, shift control sensors, transmission cooler, transmission mounts, oil pan.
DIFFERENTIAL: a) Front Wheel Drive Vehicles (transaxle) All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including: housing, main shafts, crown and pinion, pinion gears and bearings.
b) Rear Wheel Drive Vehicles All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including: housing, carrier gear and case, drive pinion and pinion gear, ring gear, differential cover, differential mounts and bearings.
SEALS AND GASKETS: All seals and gaskets used to contain fluids or lubricants for parts within sections 4.1 through 4.3 when necessary to assemble or replace a covered component, Every repair includes the replacement of coolants, refrigerants, transmission fluid and filter, engine oil and filter, hydraulic and lubricants when required as a result of a failure of a covered component.
AIR CONDITIONING: Compressor, clutch assembly and pulley, evaporator, accumulator, expansion valve, orifice tube, receiver-dryer, idler pulley and bearings, Condenser, refrigerant lines, belt tensioner, high/low compressor cut-off switch, expansion valve, pressure cycling switch. The following parts are also covered if they are required in connection with the repair of a covered part listed above: oil and refrigerant.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: We will reimburse You up to fifty ($50.00) dollars per occurrence to an aggregate maximum of two hundred and fifty ($250.00) dollars including all applicable taxes (valid receipts must be submitted for reimbursement) for the following events when related to an approved claim for Services:
a) Winching services for Your Vehicle stuck in snow, mud or off the road.
b) Battery boosting service to start Your Vehicle.
c) Emergency fuel delivery service for Your Vehicle if it has run out of fuel (up to 10 litres).
d) Flat tire repair or installation of the spare
e) Vehicle entry service (locksmith service) for Your Vehicle should the keys be lost or locked in Your Vehicle.
TOWING: We will reimburse You up to one hundred ($100.00) dollars per occurrence to an aggregate maximum of two hundred ($200.00) dollars including all applicable taxes (valid receipts must be submitted for reimbursement) for towing expenses incurred due to a Mechanical Breakdown when related to an approved claim.
CAR RENTAL / TRIP INTERUPTION: a) Car Rental: We will reimburse You for car rental expenses incurred due to a Mechanical Breakdown. Prior approval must be obtained from Us and valid receipts must be submitted for reimbursement. Benefits will be payable if the labour time allocated by a current recognized professional labour guide exceeds eight hours, requiring that Your Vehicle be kept in a Repair Facility overnight. Reimbursement is up to forty ($40.00) dollars per day to a maximum of two hundred ($200.00) dollars for the term of this Contract. b) Trip Interruption: We will reimburse You for lodging, meals, bus or taxi expenses incurred due to a Mechanical Breakdown. Prior approval must be obtained from Us and valid receipts must must be submitted for reimbursement. Benefits will be payable if You are more than 300 kilometres away from the registered residence (one way) and labour time allocated by a current recognized professional labour guide exceeds eight hours, requiring that Your Vehicle be kept in a Repair Facility overnight. Reimbursement is up to fifty ($50.00) dollars per day to a maximum of two hundred ($200.00) dollars for the term of this Contract
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS: Starter motor and solenoid, alternator, voltage regulator, electronic ignition module (excluding computer system), distributor, windshield wiper motors, washer pump motors, heater motors and fan, horn assembly, Starter ring gear and starter drive, engine wiring harness, transmission wiring harness, computerized timing control unit, powertrain control module, crank angle sensor, cam sensor, knock sensor, ignition switch, ignition switch lock cylinder, front and rear window wiper motor, manual heater / A.C. control head.
BRAKING SYSTEMS: Master cylinder, assist booster, proportioning valves, wheel cylinders, backing plates and return springs, front and rear calipers, hard lines
and fittings, flex lines, brake linkages and cables, Hydro boost, seals and gaskets. The following ABS Parts are
also covered: electronic control processor, wheel speed sensors, valve/isolation dump valve.
STEERING SYSTEMS: Rack and pinion, power steering pump and pulley, fluid reservoir, hydraulic lines, steering gear, main and intermediate shafts, pitman arms, idler arms, centre link, steering knuckles, (spindles), kingpins and bushings, cooler and lines, All internal parts contained within the steering box, power steering hoses, tie rod ends and drag link, steering dampener, upper and lower steering column shafts and couplings, internal tilt-wheel mechanism, steering box, rear wheel steering, rear steering shaft and couplings, power cylinder and pump, electronic rear wheel steering, rear steering shaft and couplings, power cylinder and pump, electronic control unit/solenoid, phase control unit, stepper motor, steering box, control valve, rack, tie rod ends.
ELECTRONIC HIGH TECH: (Option available for Silver & Gold plans only) Electronic anti-lock brake system (ABS), traction control system (TCS) including: electronic brake control module, exciter rings, pump motor/hydraulic unit, relays, accumulators, pressure modulator valve assembly; electronic temperature control module, electronic ignition computer control modules, fuel injection computer control modules, cruise control servo, transducer and cable, digital dash instrumentation including speedometer, tachometer, odometer, fuel, oil, temperature, compass readout, thermometer readout and voltage displays; keyless entry system, door control mode and lock actuators, power door lock actuator motor and switches, power window motors, power seat motors, power antenna, electronic trunk release actuator, exterior mirror motors, sunroof motor, convertible top motors, hidden headlight door motors and electronic automatic load leveling compressor motor, Ignition coil, ignition coil packs, coil pack housing, oxygen sensor, electronic combination entry system (Does not include transmitters and receivers for remote locks), power seat switch, rear defogger switch, power door lock switch.
AUXILIARY DIFFERENTIAL AND TRANSFER CASE ( 4WD and AWD ): All internally lubricated parts (when damaged from within) including case, gears and sprockets, and chains. (Front and Rear) locking hubs, drive shafts, center support bearings, universal joints, constant velocity joints, axle bearings, four-wheel drive actuator.
TURBOCHARGER: All internal parts including: Housing, waste gate controller, intercooler and hard lines.(NOTE: Turbocharged engines must use turbo-rated oil.)
SUPERCHARGER: All internal parts including: Housing, compressor, clutch and pulley, bypass valve, intercooler and ducting.
FRONT SUSPENSION: Upper and lower ball joints, upper and lower control arms and their shafts & bushings, steering knuckles, king pins & their bushings
REAR SUSPENSION: Torsion bars and mounts or bushings, stabilizer bar, links and bushings, spindle support, wheel bearings, variable dampening suspension compressor, control module, actuator, solenoid, height sensor and mode selector switch.
FUEL INJECTION: (gasoline & diesel) Pressure Regulators, fuel injector lines and fuel injectors, injection / distribution and fuel pumps.
ZERO DEDUCTIBLE: If You have selected and paid for this option, Your Deductible will be zero dollars if You have the repair made at a Repair Facility.
BODY INTERIOR AND HARDWARE: Fuel door release cable, hood release cable, and trunk release cable.
FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM: Vacuum pump, fuel tank, fuel tank sending unit, metal fuel delivery lines.
COOLING SYSTEM: Engine cooling fan and motor, fan clutch, belt tensioner, radiator, heating core, thermostat, hot water valve, water pump.
DVD/Navigation System: If You have selected and paid for this option, it covers Manufacture Original installed components only. (does not cover aftermarket systems or software upgrades)
