Because of our AutoPrice Differences!
Ontario Safety Standards Certificate
As a retail customer, you should NEVER, EVER BUY A VEHICLE "AS IS"! Do not sign a Contract of Sale where the words "AS IS" are written on it. A consumer has absolutely no legal recourse for any issues whatsoever when purchasing a vehicle with this declaration. If these words enter into the discussion when you are purchasing a vehicle, it is highly likely that you are purchasing a vehicle that has been severely compromised; either mechanically or structurally, so much so, that the seller does not want to provide any level of guarantee or security whatsoever.
The Ontario Government has developed a certification standard as an effort to protect the used car buyer. This certification is called an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate. All vehicles sold by AutoPrice Canada come with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate. We will not retail any vehicles “AS IS”.
The Ontario Safety Standards Certificate was developed by the Province of Ontario. Only accredited service centers are allowed to process these certificates. The “Standards” have been set by the Province of Ontario and in effect, they ensure that vehicle is safe when leaving a dealers lot.
At AutoPrice Canada , we use a third party service center to inspect our vehicles and bring them to the certification requirements. Once the lisenced Automotive Technicians have completed their inspection, we authorize all work on each and every vehicle in inventory so that they meet and often exceed these safety standard requirements. We have also mandated that the Automotive Technicians inspect over and above the minimum requirements in an effort to highlight any other areas that may require extra attention in the near future. (see our page on 30 day or 1500 km Warranty) As a result, we often authorize work that is above the minimum provincial required standards.
All Vehicles Emissions Passed (E-tested)
All vehicles sold by AutoPrice Canada will come with documentation that states the Emissions Test has been completed and passed. AutoPrice Canada will not retail any vehicles “AS IS”.
The emission test is mandated by the Province of Ontario. Only accredited E-test Centers and equipment are allowed to process these certificates. The minimum allowable emission levels have been set by the Province of Ontario and in effect, they ensure that the vehicle is “environmentally friendly” when leaving a dealers lot.
AutoPrice Differences were developed to guarantee what we sell!
What are AutoPrice Differences?
AutoPrice Differences were built with you in mind. We understand that purchasing a vehicle is the second largest monetary investment most families will make. For that reason, AutoPrice Canada has developed the "AutoPrice Differences" . These policies were developed to separate AutoPrice Canada from those dealers, new and used, that have a lesser commitment to quality and to their customers. These policies were developed with the following objectives in mind:
1) To protect our potential customers from the possible issues that may arise during your car buying experience.
2) To ensure that your car buying experience is honest, pleasant and the foundation for a long term relationship.
